The short version
- NeuroDinoWorld is rated 4+ and is set up by a parent or carer aged 18 or over.
- Some of it is always free. Everything else needs Premium: a subscription or a one-off lifetime purchase.
- The first time you sign in to a parent account you get 14 days of everything free. No card, nothing to cancel.
- Subscriptions renew until you cancel, and you can cancel any time.
- Changed your mind? For a purchase on the website or Google Play, email us within 7 days of being charged for a full refund. Apple handles App Store refunds.
- NeuroDinoWorld is for play and calm. It is not medical advice.
1. Who we are
NeuroDinoWorld is run by a sole trader trading as NeuroDinoWorld (ABN 71 243 092 197), Mount Duneed, Victoria, Australia. By using the app or the website you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use NeuroDinoWorld.
2. Who the app is for
NeuroDinoWorld is rated 4+ and is made for young children, including neurodivergent children, using it with a parent or carer. A parent or carer aged 18 or over sets it up, passes an adult check, and accepts these terms for themselves and their child. Accounts and purchases are for adults only.
3. Free, the free trial, and Premium
- Free: some activities, games and stories are always free, with or without an account. What is free can change.
- Free trial: the first time you sign in to a parent account you get 14 days of everything, free. No card is needed, it ends by itself, and it is once per email address.
- Premium opens everything else. In the iPhone, iPad and Android apps you can buy a monthly or yearly subscription, or lifetime access, through Apple or Google Play. On the website you can buy a yearly subscription or lifetime access through our checkout (RevenueCat, with Stripe). The price, and any free trial the store offers, is shown before you pay.
- Lifetime access is one payment with no renewals, for as long as NeuroDinoWorld runs.
4. Subscriptions: renewing and cancelling
A subscription renews automatically at the end of each month or year, at the same price, until you cancel. In the apps, payment is charged to your Apple or Google account when you confirm the purchase, and each renewal is charged in the 24 hours before the period ends unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before. If the store offers a free trial and you do not cancel before it ends, the subscription starts and is charged.
To cancel:
- iPhone or iPad: Settings → your name → Subscriptions.
- Android: Google Play → your profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions.
- Bought on the website: in the app, Settings → Manage Subscription, or email us and we will cancel it for you.
Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep Premium until the end of the period you paid for. Only you can cancel an Apple or Google subscription, in the store. If a price changes, we will tell you before it applies to you, and Apple or Google will also let you know as their rules require.
5. Refunds
- Bought on the website or through Google Play: if you change your mind, email us within 7 days of being charged and we will refund it in full.
- Bought through the App Store: Apple handles every App Store refund. Ask Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
- Billing mistakes, such as a double charge or a charge you did not make, are always refunded.
- Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. If NeuroDinoWorld has a major failure, you are entitled to a refund or another remedy under that law.
6. Your account
Keep your password to yourself; you are responsible for what happens in your account. You can delete your account in the app (Settings → Manage Account → Delete my account), which removes it straight away, or by emailing us, and we will do it within 30 days. The Privacy Policy says what is deleted. Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription, so cancel it first (section 4). We may suspend an account used to break these terms or to harm the service. If we close an account without a good reason, we refund the unused part of what you paid.
7. What is in the app
The stories, recordings, pictures, music, games and designs in NeuroDinoWorld belong to NeuroDinoWorld or are used with permission, and are protected by the Copyright Act 1968 (Cth). You may use them in the app and print the printables for your own family. Please do not copy, sell or share them in any other way.
All pictures, sounds and character voices in NeuroDinoWorld are pre-recorded human recordings and verified assets stored in secure cloud storage. There is no live conversational AI or live text generation in the app from what you or your child type or say. All activities, calm tools, and stories are pre-authored and curated. If anything looks or sounds wrong, tell us at hello@neurodinoworld.com.au and we will fix it.
Sound. NeuroDinoWorld is a sound-on app, like a music or audiobook app. It plays sound even when your phone's silent switch or silent mode is on, and an audio story can keep playing when the screen is off or you switch to another app, until you pause it or close the player. The phone's volume buttons always apply, you can switch the music off in the app, and a phone call or alarm pauses the app's sound.
What you or your child make in the app, such as journal entries and drawings, is yours. The Privacy Policy says what we store and why.
8. Not medical advice
NeuroDinoWorld is for play, calm and learning. It is not a medical device, a therapy, or a substitute for advice from a doctor, psychologist, occupational therapist or other professional. Breathing and calming activities are for general relaxation, not treatment. Talk to a qualified professional about your child's health, development or diagnosis.
9. Using NeuroDinoWorld fairly
Please do not get around Premium, the adult checks or any other security; share paid access outside your family; copy, take apart or resell the app; or use automated tools to scrape it. Parents and carers decide how and when their child uses the app.
10. Our responsibility
Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. Apart from those rights, and as far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before it.
11. Changes
We keep improving NeuroDinoWorld, so activities, stories and games are added, changed or removed over time. We aim to keep it running but cannot promise it will never be interrupted. If we change these terms in a way that matters, we will tell you in the app or by email, and the date at the top will change. Using NeuroDinoWorld after that means you accept the new terms.
12. Law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia, and its courts can hear any dispute. Questions about these terms or a purchase: hello@neurodinoworld.com.au. NeuroDinoWorld (ABN 71 243 092 197), Mount Duneed, Victoria, Australia.
